Donate Food at Eleven8 Saturday

Patch will be officially kicking off its food drive Saturday at and from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday.

The hair and fashion show—beginning at at 6 p.m. at Salon1032—will showcase holidays styles. Closing reception and shopping will follow at Eleven8.

All food drive donations will benefit Holy Family Giving Bank and Door of Hope.

is requesting the following food items: pasta, canned or powdered milk, cereal, canned soup, canned tuna, canned vegetables and dried fruit and nuts.

Door of Hope is requesting the following food items: dry and non-perishable canned foods including pasta, tuna, rice, soups, vegetable oil, spaghetti sauce and canned vegetables. (Gift cards to grocery stores are also appreciated.)

Other items useful to Door of Hope include: Paper goods like paper towels, plates, napkins and toilet paper; and cooking items like pots and pans, cooking sheets and crock pots.

If you can't make it, Patch food drive bins will be at the following locations around town until Dec. 19. 

Look for a green and red box with a Patch logo or ask a salesperson for help.
