Photos of the Day: Lunch with the Kiwanis Club
Patch editor Kristen Lepore stopped in at Kiwanis Club's weekly meeting Wednesday.
With a mission of promoting leadership and growth among children of all ages, the Kiwanis Club of South Pas meets every Wednesday to socialize and discuss events.
Money from the club's local fundraisers, such the recent Pancake Breakfast on the Fourth of July, is put back towards the community. South Pasadena's Kiwanis Club specifically funds student scholarships and meals at the Ronald McDonald House in Pasadena, among other good deeds.
As for administrative costs, members dish out the money themselves though games played every Wednesday. The club has 26 members and meets every Wednesday at Noon in Fellowship Hall of .
