I have got my leave. Bid me farewell, my friends!
I bow to you all and take my departure. Here I give back the keys of my door--and I give up all claims to my house. I only ask for last kind words from you. We were neighbors for long, but I received more than I could give. Now the day has dawned and the lamp that lit my dark corner is out. A summons has come and I am ready for my journey. Tagore

This news knocked me to my knees yesterday. The last time I saw her I told her how great she looked and how happy I was that she seemed to have put the cancer behind her. I was crushed to hear this news in the midst of the holiday festivities.
Stephanie, Bill, and Michael were my neighbors for many years and I worked with Stephanie on the SPEF board for several years after that. She was a dynamo and I have a hard time accepting that even cancer could be the winner in that battle. My thoughts and condolences go to Bill and Mike. Rest in Peace, Steph. dave

Stephanie will not only be a great loss to Bill and Micheal but also leave a void in the community she loved and contributed so much to. Bill is an outstanding, objective journalist because of the support he received from his wife. And though we can claim to feel his loss none off will be more aware of this than the Glazier family, Bill we are all there for you and even though we will never be able to fill the void left by your wife, we are there to lend you any support you may need in this time of sorrow. She will truly be missed. My heartfelt condolences to you and Micheal. Your friend, Henk

You can definitely follow specific news! If you only wanted to follow police and fire, for example,Read More click on the News tab on the home page. Then, down the left side of the page are multiple news categories. Click the one you want and then it'll ask you if you want to receive email updates about this topic. Once you do, it'll show you as "subscribed.'' If you follow "Top News'' you receive updates on all stories.
TRT June 16, 2013 at 10:13 am
Personally I do not want to get updates on all stories under a given category. It is too bad that weRead More can no longer follow specific stories as we used to.... As it is I get too many e-mails.... I hope patch will consider to allow following of specific stories instead of all stories under a given category.
