Board of Education, City Council Meetings
Besides a special meeting to outline the search for the next SPUSD superintendent, a slew of city commission meetings are scheduled this week.
1. South Pasadena Unified School District Board of Education special meeting
The South Pasadena Unified School District Board of Education is scheduled to hold a special meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 15, to discuss the process whereby a search firm called the Cosca Group will go about finding the next superintendent of the SPUSD to succeed Joel Shapiro, who is scheduled to retire in February 2014.
2. Design Review Board meeting
The South Pasadena Design Review Board is scheduled to meet Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 7 p.m. in the Mayor's Conference Room at City Hall, 1424 Mission St., (626) 403-7227.
3. Freeway and Transportation Commission meeting
The Freeway and Transportation Commission is scheduled to meet Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 6:30 p.m. in the Amedee O. “Dick” Richards, Jr., City Council Chambers at City Hall, 1424 Mission St., (626) 403-7210.
4. City Council meeting
The South Pasadena City Council is scheduled to meet Wednesday, Oct. 16, at 7:30 p.m. in the Amedee O. “Dick” Richards, Jr., City Council Chambers at City Hall, 1424 Mission St. Click here to view the agenda.
5. Cultural Heritage Commission meeting
The South Pasadena Cultural Heritage Commission is scheduled to meet Thursday, Oct. 17, at 6:30 p.m. in the Amedee O. “Dick” Richards, Jr., City Council Chambers at City Hall, 1424 Mission St., (626) 403-7228.
