Commission Meetings, Screening of 1978 Classic ‘Halloween’

1. Planning Commission Meeting

The City of South Pasadena Planning Commission is scheduled to meet today, Monday, Oct. 28, starting at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 1424 Mission St. Click here to view the meeting’s agenda, which mostly includes requests for approval for conditional use permits, hillside development permits and zoning code amendments.

2. Youth Commission meeting

3. Screening of Halloween

The original 1978 classic film Halloween, filmed in South Pasadena and directed by John Carpenter, in whose honor the South Pasadena City Council recently declared Oct. 31 John Carpenter Night, will be screened Thursday, Oct. 31, at 7 p.m., in the South Pasadena Public Library Community Room. 4. Farmers' Market

The weekly South Pasadena Farmers' Market will be held Thursday, Oct. 31, at and around the intersection of El Centro Street and Meridian from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Come and get your fresh produce and other goodies for the week.
