Get a Jump on South Pas Housing Needs 2014-2021

1. Planning Commission reviews city's housing needs

The City of South Pasadena Planning Commission is scheduled to meet today, Monday, Sept. 23, to discuss, among other things, the city's housing needs from 2014 through 2021. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 1424 Mission St. Click here for further details.

2. Youth Commission meeting

The South Pasadena Youth Commission is scheduled to meet today, Monday, Sept. 23, at the Orange Grove Recreation Building, Mid-Level Meeting Room, located at 815 Mission St. Click here to view the meeting's agenda. Call (626) 403-7321 with any questions.

3. Water District presentation

The Upper San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District is scheduled to give a presentation before the City of South Pasadena Natural Resources and Environmental Commission on Tuesday, Sept. 24, starting at 7 p.m. The water district is expected to present an overview of the water situation across the region and explain the dynamics behind the ever-changing supply and cost of water. The meeting is scheduled in the City Council Chambers at 1424 Mission St. 

4. Breakfast meeting with L.A. County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich

Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich is scheduled to meet with the South Pasadena City Council over breakfast on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 8 a.m. at the Canoe House Restaurant, located at 805 Fair Oaks Ave. This is a periodically scheduled meeting between the city council and the county supervisor—the most recent one was in 2010. Issues of mutual interest are expected to be discussed during the meeting, which generally lasts about an hour. The meeting is open to the public, including for public comment.
