1. Youth Commission meeting

The South Pasadena Youth Commission is scheduled to meet today, Monday, Jan. 27, starting at 6 p.m. at the Orange Grove Recreation Building, Mid-Level Meeting Room, located at 815 Mission St. Click here to view the meeting's agenda, which includes "Doggy Day" on March 29 and "Spring Extravaganza" on April 19. Call (626) 403-7321 with any questions.

2. Planning Commission Meeting

The City of South Pasadena Planning Commission is scheduled to meet today, Monday, Jan. 27, starting at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 1424 Mission St. The meeting will be live-streamed here. Click here to view the meeting's agenda.

3. NREC meeting

The South Pasadena Natural Resources and Environmental Commission is scheduled to meet Tuesday, Jan. 28, starting at 7 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, located 1424 Mission St. No agenda has yet been posted on the city's website, but questions may be directed to Water Conservation Analyst Debby Figoni at (626) 403-7311 or via e-mail at dFigoni@southpasadenaca.gov.

4. Mission Wines Tax-Free Tuesday

South Pasadena's only boutique wine store, Mission Wines, located on 1114 Mission St., will offer its typically delicious flight of wines Tuesday, Jan. 28, without charging sales tax. www.mission-wines.com. (626) 403-9463.

5. Farmers Market

The weekly South Pasadena Farmers Market will be held Thursday, Jan. 30, at and around the intersection of El Centro Street and Meridian from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Come and get your fresh produce and other goodies for the week.
