Blog: Adoptable Pets & a Vaccine Clinic Reminder

Adoptable pets at the Pasadena Humane Society and information on the Dec. 6 vaccine clinic for cats and dogs.

Thinking of adding a new family member? Consider adopting one of these four, loving animal companions a home for the holidays. Meet Bowie, Oprah, Snowflake and Gauss. View all of our adoptable pets at www.pasadenahumane.org.

A318482 — Bowie is a shy, three-month-old gold and tan Chihuahua mix. He has one blue eye and one brown eye, which make him so cute. He can be a bit quiet so an attentive and calm home would be great for him. His adoption fee is $120.

A313509 — Oprah is a sweet five-year-old calico. She’s very friendly and social. Too bad she doesn’t have her own TV show! She qualifies for our Seniors for Seniors program. Her regular adoption fee is $70.

A316788 — Snowflake is one of four doves available for adoption. Contact an adoptions counselor for more information at(626) 792-7151.

A287404 — Gauss is a seven-year-old brindle Labrador retriever/ pit bull mix. She doesn’t like loud noises so a calm, quiet home would be great for her. She also qualifies for our Seniors for Seniors program. Contact an adoptions counselor for more information at (626) 792-7151.

The adoption fee includes the animal’s spay/neuter surgery, a microchip, the first set of vaccinations, as well as a free follow-up health check at a participating vet. New adopters will receive complimentary health and wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals. Ask an adoptions counselor for more information during your visit.

Call the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA at 626.792.7151 and refer to the animal’s “A” number, or visit us  at 361 S. Raymond Ave in Pasadena. Adoption hours are 11-4 Sunday, 9-5 Tuesday –Friday and 9-4 Saturday. Pets may not be available for adoption and cannot be held for potential adopters from phone calls or email. Directions and photos of all pets can be found atwww.pasadenahumane.org.
