The Friends of the South Pasadena Library is a group that's…More dedicated to serving the needs of library patrons and the surrounding community. <a href="http://www.friendsofsopaslibrary.org/getinvolved.htm">Annual membership</a> is tax-deductible and can be purchased online, by mail or at the South Pasadena library. Members receive the quarterly newspaper <i>Between Friends</i>, are invited to special programs and participate in the annual Friends of the South Pasadena Library meeting in January. Jane Schirmeister is the president of the <a href="http://www.friendsofsopaslibrary.org/board.htm">board of directors</a>. </p> <p>The Friends of the South Pasadena Library organizes the <a href="http://www.friendsofsopaslibrary.org/concerts.htm">Restoration Concert Series</a>, which features a lineup of eight concerts every season. The group also runs the library's used <a href="http://www.friendsofsopaslibrary.org/bkstore.htm">bookstore</a>, located on the second floor of the library. Used-book donations are welcome.</p>
