Carla Sameth
Carla Sameth has been writing since she was young. She "brings home the oatmeal" for her now 16-year-old son though her work in PR as president/founder of iMinds PR (www.imindspr.com)  She is also the co-founder/co-director of The Pasadena Writing Project and has been featured in a variety of publications, including the Pasadena Weekly, Tikkun (daily blog), iVillage and was recently published in the anothology, "paniK - Canid Stories of Life Altering Experiences Sourrounding Pregnacy" compiled by Melissa Ferina.  Her work is also featured in a book by Katya Williamson about the writing process called “Bringing the Soul Back: Writing in the New Consciousness.”  You can an example of Carla's writing as guest blogger at http://www.tikkun.org/tikkundaily/2011/04/14/wondering-why-we-wander/.     She has been co-teaching memoir writing workshops with The Pasadena Writing Project - their essays were featured in the 6-23-11 issue of the Pasadena Weekly www.pasadenaweekly.com/cms/story/detail/family_business/10248/).
Carla will be teaching creative/memoir writing this summer with the Institute for Girls' Development in Pasadena (http://www.instituteforgirlsdevelopment.com/).
