Devra Hall Levy a Los Angeles-based writer with a penchant for profiles, biography, and jazz, is the author of <i>Men, Women, and Girl Singers</i><i>, </i><i>Strollin&#39;</i> and <i>Seeking Harmony: The Life and Music of Luther Henderson</i> (forthcoming). Her articles and reviews have appeared in <i>Miller-McCune Magazine</i>, <i>The New York Times Book Review, Billboard Magazine,</i> <i>Jazz Improv</i>, and in CD booklets for recordings by Oscar Peterson, Joe Williams, Jim Hall, Nancy Wilson, The English Chamber Orchestra and The London Symphony Orchestra, among others. She also authored a dozen books about computers and technology, several of which were translated into foreign languages.  She holds an MFA in Creative Nonfiction (2004), an MA in Education (1992), was a curriculum consultant and lecturer at Cal Poly Pomona.  In addition to her work on the printed page, Hall is a writer and music/talent coordinator with three jazz videos and one syndicated television show hosted by Nancy Wilson to her credit. Today, Hall continues her music-related activities part-time in addition to writing and editing books and articles full-time.
