Assistance for the Fremont Centre Theatre

The play “Holding On ~ Letting Go” by Bryan Harnetiaux which had its World Premiere at the Fremont Centre Theatre here in South Pasadena, has been chosen to be a Mainstage show at the National Black Theatre Festival in Winston-Salem, North Carolina July 29, 2013-Aug 3, 2013.

-If they can get the money.

Lissa and James Reynolds (director of "Holding On, Letting Go") have been giving to the South Pasadena community for many many years. Let's show our support and send them to North Carolina.

To be honest, growing up here I did not go to the Fremont Centre Theatre (more focused on the newest  movie out), but while in College my appreciation for the arts grew, due to my then girlfriend (now wife) and I was able to take in my first show at the Theatre, "The Importance of Being Ernest", while it didn't hurt that it was already one of my favorite comedic plays, what really made it for me was the combination of the intimate theatre and the quality of the production.

As the arts become more and more a part of South Pasadena (or maybe I'm just finally noticing) the Fremont Centre Theatre and James and Lissa Reynolds (no relation to myself) have been a mainstay of quality and artistic representation in South Pasadena, and I wanted to let everyone know of this opportunity to help them out.

There are 7 days remaining to reach the monetary backing goal. They are halfway there.
